Hop in! Where you headed?

I aim this blog at Hitchhiking stories, obviously. However, you can take that in the 'poetic' sense, as we are 'snakes' in time and the asphalt rivers take us to many places, as well as 'places'..

PLEASE REMEMBER TO READ PREVIOUS PAGES..
.... occasionally my own 'Road' spurs me to use this blog to communicate with someone I've 'travelled with' who holds a special meaning to me.

HITCHHIKING PERMITTED!! DRY FALLS, WASHINGTON THE OTHER DAY

AND JUST IN BACK OF THIS PHOTO WITHIN 50 TO 100 YARDS IS
WHAT AT ONE TIME WAS PERHAPS THE LARGEST WATERFALL ON THE ENTIRE EARTH.

This part of Washington is pretty much like the middle of
nowhere, but up the road at the bottom of a lake
in a little espresso joint we came across
what seemed like a bunch of neighbors putting on a
nice show of some gospel and maybe a little bluegrass, country with
a stand up bass and an competent old fella on slide guitar
all backed up with three or four hollow body steel strings
and some harmonious voices, including a young woman who was featured on
most pieces.
We'd spent a night at Grand Coulee and jetted back to Yakima.
